We Need Your Hands This Spring
We are heading back to Melody House this spring for a hands-on work trip to repair damage from Hurricane Melissa. This is not our typical TAP trip. It is short, intense, and centered around hard physical work with big impact.
We are looking for resourceful, can-do volunteers — the MacGyver types. If you can think on your feet, adapt on the fly, and lead a project without needing constant direction, this is your moment.
You might be:
Rebuilding the chicken coop
Resetting the perimeter fence
Fixing toilet mechanisms
Tackling a long list of repair and fix-it projects around the property
This is a no frills, boots-on-the-ground kind of trip. You’ll sweat. You’ll get dirty. And you’ll help bring lasting repair and relief to a home that has given so much to so many.
If we’re able to build a strong core of skilled and confident leaders, we’ll open up a few spots for the dedicated “worker bee” types who may not be as handy, but are ready to work hard and take direction.
If any of that sounds like you, we would love to have you with us.
